The Sensex ended 209 points or 0.4 per cent higher to close at 52,653 and Nifty 50 index rose 69 points to close at 15,778.

On the UP side: Tata Steel, State Bank of India, Bajaj Finserv, JSW Steel, Tata Motor, HCL Technologies, Bajaj Finance and Sun Pharma also rose between 2-7 per cent.

On the downside, Maruti Suzuki, Power Grid, Bajaj Auto, ITC, Coal India, Dr Reddy’s Labs, Hindustan Unilever, Divi’s Labs, Cipla and Hero MotoCorp were among the losers.

Tech View:- Index closed above important 15700 on positive note & formed Doji sort of candle pattern on daily chart The index has formed a good base near 15,750-15,650 zone; Holding above these levels will help to sustain the bullish momentum. We may head towards upper band of the range which is 15,950-16,000 mark. Immediate resistance is near 15,800-15,875 zone

European & USA markets:
@ IST 4.30 European markets were trading with a Positive note. Germany’s DAX 0.57 per cent, France’s CAC40 index 0.81 per cent and England’s FTSE100 index up by 0.91 per cent.
Where; wall street @ IST 4.30, The DOW future contract trading in Green 134.80 points, or 0.39%, S&P 500 Future traded High @ 03.25 points, or 0.08%, and where Nasdaq100 future trading Negative 43.points, or 0.29%.

Global News Analysis:

LONDON -British mortgage lending showed a record surge in June as home-buyers rushed to qualify for a tax break before it was scaled back, but other data added to signs that a rise in COVID-19 cases in recent weeks slowed the broader economic recovery from lockdown.
USA – The U.S. will publish its first estimate of second-quarter Gross Domestic product at 8:30 AM ET (1230 GMT). Growth is expected to have accelerated to an annualized rate of 8.5% from 6.4% in the first quarter, reflecting the reopening of the country’s service sector as the Covid-19 pandemic receded.
China- will raise export tariff for some steel products again in Green push.
