Technical View on
Zomato
Zomato’s shares surged about 20% on Tuesday to close at Rs 55.60 on the BSE.
Its stock has jumped 37% from a low of Rs 40.55 on the BSE on July 27.
Those who have share of the Zomato, hold their position till Rs.75. It is strong resistance level of this stock.
• Uber Technologies likely to sell 7.8% stake in Zomato through block deal
Ride-hailing app Uber likely to offload its its entire holding (7.8 per cent or 61 crore shares) in food delivery company Zomato for at least $373 million (Rs 2,939 crore) through a block deal of shares, merchant banking sources said. The deal can be undertaken in the range of Rs 48-54 each.
A block deal happens when two parties agree to buy or sell shares at an agreed price among themselves. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) rules state that block deal orders should be placed for a price not exceeding 1% to -1% of the previous day closing or the current market price.
• IPO price was approx 76 which everyone knows by now that it was highly overpriced, but now nearly 40% down to its IPO price looks attractive. So, it should be a good buy around 42 for long term investors.
• Strong buy signal for long term because it has given a breakout with great Volume. Also Zomato has reduction in their loses. It’s my opinion on Zomato so please check on your side also. For more accuracy check fundamentals.
