HCL Tech : Revenue for July-Sept quarter rose 19.51% year-on-year to Rs 24,686 cr. Net Profit rose by 6.86 % to Rs 3,487 cr. Attrition rate for the quarter stood at 23.8%. The company has announced a dividend of Rs 10 per share.

Wipro : Wipro reported 9% year-on-year fall in consolidated net profit at Rs 2,659 cr. Revenue, however, rose 15% to Rs 22,540 cr. Attrition rate for the quarter stood at 23%.

Hindustan Zinc : The government is planning to sell part of its residual stake in Hindustan Zinc in the current financial year, as per a media report.

Oil companies : The govt has approved a one-time grant of Rs 22,000 cr to 3 oil marketing companies – Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL).

Tata Power : The company will build a 7MW solar project for Tata Motors at its Pantnagar manufacturing facility.

ITC : Company’s IT arm ‘ITC Infotech’ has formed a new subsidiary in Brazil.

Panacea Biotec : Serum Institute of India offloaded 2.2% stake in Panacea Biotec. Its stake now stands at 7.63%.

Suven Life Sciences : The board of directors has approved a rights issue worth Rs 399.80 cr. The rights entitlement ratio is 1:2.

Power Grid : LIC sold a 2% stake in Power Grid Corporation of India. Its stake is now at 3.3%.

BHEL : BHEL has entered into agreements with Coal India and NLC India Ltd, to set up coal gasification-based plants.

PVR : Shareholders of PVR have approved the merger with INOX Leisure.
