Telecom companies :
• Reliance Jio added 29 lakh new subscribers in July taking its total subscriber count to 41.60 crores. Jio now has a 36.23% market share in the wireless telecom segment.
• Airtel added 5,13 lakh subscribers during the month. Its total subscribers now stand at 36.35 crore which gives it a market share of 31.66%.
• Meanwhile, Vi continued losing subscribers. Around 15 lakh subscribers left the company’s service, taking its market share to 22.22%

Tamilnad Mercantile Bank : Tamilnad Mercantile Bank made its listing debut on Sept 15. It opened at Rs 495 on NSE, a 3% discount as compared to its IPO issue price.

Indian Hotels Company : Indian Hotels company has signed a 129-room Vivanta hotel in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. The existing hotel will be rebranded to Vivanta post upgradation.
