ACC : ACC posted a 29.5% fall in consolidated net profit to Rs 396.33 crore for the quarter ended March 2022. The company had posted a profit of Rs 562.59 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago.
L&T Infotech: Larsen & Toubro Infotech reported a 16.8% year on-year increase in March quarter net profit to Rs 637.5 crore.
Eveready Industries: Burman Group has increased its holding in Eveready Industries to 20.18% through open market transactions. Entities of the Burman Group entities acquired 78,000 shares that account for a 0.11% stake in the company.
Reliance Industries: Reliance Brands (RBL), a subsidiary of Reliance Retail Ventures, has signed an agreement to invest in Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla (AJSK) for a 51% majority stake. Reliance Retail Ventures is the retail subsidiary of Reliance Industries.
Punjab & Sind Bank: Punjab & Sind Bank has declared the accounts of Srei Infrastructure Finance and SREI Equipment Finance as fraud. The bank has put them under the category of non-performing assets (NPAs).
Tata Steel: Tata Steel has signed a pact with Thiess to offer services in areas such as exploration, resource evaluation, and mine planning in India and abroad. Thiess is an Australia-based mining services provider.
Max Ventures and Industries: Max Ventures and Industries has approved the amalgamation of the company with its wholly-owned subsidiary Max Estates. The move is a part of the group’s restructuring exercise to focus completely on the real estate business.
Future Enterprises: Future Enterprises has defaulted on a payment of Rs 29.33 crore as interest on non convertible debentures (NCDs). The due date for payment was April 18.
